Tom talks - after the Colwyn Bay game

Blyth manager Tom Wade saw his side totally dominate hosts Colwyn Bay on Saturday to record a 3-1 victory and he went on to suggest his team would only improve as the season goes on.
"It was very one-sided," he said. "We had loads of the ball although we didn't actually create as many chances that the amount of time we had on the ball might have brought about. We lack a little composure at times but it's still early days and we will kick on in the second half of the season."
After controlling the game the Spartans surprisingly found themselves a goal down with five minutes of the opening period remaining.
"We lost our shape a bit for their goal," Wade said. "They hadn't troubled us at all till then. To be honest though it was a rocket shot which went in off the inside of the post and I wouldn't expect the keeper to get near it."
One nil down at the interval what were the boss's words to his team?
"We just needed the break to re-organise a little, "said Wade. "There wasn't that much to say because we had bossed the game so much and played some fantastic football after five hours on the coach. The lads said themselves we just had to go out and keep on going. They were raring to go for the second half."
Central defender Danny Parker equalised after 68 minutes despite appeals from the Colwyn Bay players and supporters.
Wade commented: "It wasn't offside - they had two players on the line! I was pleased for Danny as he's been settling in well to playing in the side again.
"His goal and the substitutions pushed us on and we were unplayable. Sean Reid did a job in attack and defence. Michael [Richardson] came on to stretch the game and scored two good goals. Plus we had one of our most attacking players at left back - Alex Nicholson, who had come on for the injured Jordan Watson.
"All in all it was a fantastic squad performance".
