Tom talks - after the Halesowen game

Blyth boss Tom Wade was undoubtedly pleased with the three points his side picked up on Saturday against Halesowen despite his team not being at their best.
"I thought we were poor in the first half. In fact it was probably the worst we've played for a long time. Mind you we still created chances before the break but couldn't convert them," Wade said.
"It was a typical Bank Holiday Saturday match. Players have had a day off work and their body clocks were all to pot. We were going to change the side from Tuesday's and, with hindsight, we should have done.
"After half time they died and we stepped it up a bit although we didn't play at as high a tempo as we like to. It was just tiredness really.
"We are going to hammer someone one day. We can play well against good sides, and Halesowen weren't a bad side.
"We travel to Workington on Monday and we may move some players around and see if we can get something from the game."
