Tom talks - after the Hyde game

Blyth manager Tom Wade thinks his players are settling nicely into their stride. Commenting following his side's 3-0 win over Hyde United at Croft Park earlier in the week he said: "The lads are finding it easier and easier to play alongside each other. They understand their roles and what's required of them and exactly what their job is.
"Against Hyde you could see it in the interplay, movement and the way they covered others' positions when called upon. It was a fantastic performance all round. Some of the one touch football and the passing was unbelievable. It was like watching a professional side, and bear in mind Hyde aren't a bad team.
"We battered them and I know they went down to ten men but overall we annihilated them. The difference over the last few games is that we are taking our chances and keeping clean sheets too. We can also use our very strong bench. We have a hugely competitive squad and it's working to our benefit.
"I thought Stephen Turnbull and Matty Wade were outstanding against Hyde. They are a great blend and kept the tempo of the game up all through the match.
"It was also fantastic to see Nipa [Dan Maguire] getting back on the score sheet as he's been suffering a bit recently. You could see how important the goal was when all nine other outfield players ran to him immediately to congratulate him!"
