Tom talks - after the Morpeth game

Manager Tom Wade was understandably delighted with his side's performance in the 2-0 Northumberland Senior Cup Final win on Monday against Morpeth Town.
"We were superb," he said. "Our one touch football was a pleasure to watch. To deliver the quality of passing, movement and commitment at this stage of a very long season, when the lads could be dead on their feet, was remarkable.
"We could have had the game put to bed after 20 minutes. We should have had a penalty which was one of the most obvious pens I've ever seen. The assistant flagged for it but the ref declined to award it. That left the door open for Morpeth to deliver the sucker punch but we ended up dominating the game.
"I expected us to play well - but not as well as that!"
