Tom talks - after the Trafford game

Spartans' manager Tom Wade said he was 'devastated' after watching his team lose 2-1 at Trafford on Saturday.
"We played some good football against a decent side but were guilty of switching off for their goals," he said. "It's the story of our season - a young side which loses concentration. Having said that our character and commitment have never been in doubt.
"We had to start the game with some players not fully fit and had to use two others from the bench who shouldn't really have had to go on.
"Overall we didn't play the way we wanted to but we would have got a least a draw on any other day. In fact by the end we could have won by 5-2, we were so much the better side. But well done to Trafford, they battled hard. "
