Following the appointment of Nathan Haslam as Head coach, Tom Wade has left his role on the coaching staff to take up the post of Director of football at the club.
Tom's role will involve working with all levels of Spartans from the First team down to the Juniors to help bring the club together as one and also help build on the relationship between each level of the club. He will also be looking to build links around the local area and help take Blyth Spartans back to the community.
On his new role Tom Said
Firstly id like to thank Michael and the board for letting me come on board for the last 6 weeks. Iv loved being back involved but It was always only going to be on the short term. I'm looking forward to getting started in this new role and helping bring the club back to the community
Spartans Manager Michael Connor said
