Trio Depart
Tuesday, 5 July 2011
The club can confirm that Alan White, Michael Simm and Eoin Ridley have left the club.
White (pictured left) was an experienced head signed towards the end of the previous season following his release from Gateshead and the defender featured regularly in side and was amongst the goals, scoring 3 in his 16 games for the club.
The club would like the thank him for his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.
Youngsters Simm and Ridley were signed as scholars from the junior set up, which gave them access to training with the first team, as well as the opportunity to travel with the first team.
Eoin in particular seized the opportunity and was a constant presence on the team bus for away games and featured numerous times on the bench, making his Spartans debut as a second half substitute in the Northumberland Senior Cup clash with North Shields. It is hoped that the experience will be beneficial to Eoin and that he goes on to forge a career elsewhere.
The club would like to wish both Michael and Eoin, pictured left and right below respectively, all the best in the future.
