Winger Arran Wearmouth will spend a third season at Blyth Spartans after committing to the club

The former Middlesbrough youngster burst on to the scene in his debut season at the club, memorably hitting a goal on his full debut against Worksop Town in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Last season he had to patient to find a place in the team because of the form of wingers Jarrett Rivers and Robbie Dale but will be looking to challenge for a regular starting spot in the coming season.

After agreeing to stay at Croft Park Wearmouth admitted he couldn't wait to get going again

"I am delighted to be going into my third season at the club and I hope I can play a part in another good campaign for the club. We know what we have to do this season and I can't wait for pre-season to start"
