Friday, 13 December 2024
Blyth Spartans can confirm that Will Constantin has joined the club on a dual-registration basis from Gateshead FC.
Constantin has featured twice for The Heed this season in the National League Cup against both Middlesbrough U21 and Leeds United U21 and before joining Spartans Constantin had joined Consett AFC on a dual-registration basis.
The 21-year-old defender signed for The Heed in the summer of 2023 and made his first-team debut in January 2024 against Chesterfield.
He would make two more appearances, both in the Isuzu FA Trophy against Weston-Super-Mare and Hereford in the fourth and fifth rounds of the competition.
Constantin also appeared for Northern League side West Auckland Town where he signed a dual-registration deal for the 2023/24 season.
I'm really excited to be here and I'm really looking forward to get going. Living in Blyth now, I know how much this club means to the fans and to the whole community. I'm really excited about the project and where the club is going at the minute. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to getting started.
On signing Will Constantin, Michael Connor said:
I'm really pleased to have Will join us here. He understands what this club means to the community and with the project that we're building here, his quality will be an addition to the team, to help us move forward.
Welcome to Blyth, Will!
