From a Gareth William's corner Dale flicked the ball down the Adrian Webster whose effort was turned around by keeper Adam Collin.
The only effort by the home side came after 25 minutes. Gareth Arnison's corner met at the near post by Kyle May but went wide.
Spartans got the all important break through 8 minutes into the second half. Gary Brown releasing Anthony Shandran who calmly ran on to beat Collin from inside the area.
Spartans had 2 good chances to increase their led.
